The Parent Assessment of Infant Nociception (PAIN) Questionnaire – Neonatal Intensive Care is a survey to describe the views of parents of hospitalized neonates or detect changes in the views of parents after interventions designed to improve parent knowledge and involvement in infant comfort care.

This 4 minute video describes an effective technique for preventing pain and distress during immunizations in 4 to 6 year old children. It shows health care providers how to perform the technique and how to engage parents to successfully distract their child’s attention during the procedure.
