Withdrawal Assessment Tool-1 (WAT-1)

The Withdrawal Assessment Tool-1 (WAT-1) is a measure of hospital-acquired opioid withdrawal symptoms. It has demonstrated validity and reliability in infants from 2 weeks after full term birth to 18 years of age who have received continuous or around-the-clock opioids (with or without benzodiazepine) for 5 or more days.
